Our big news is that we are in the process of adopting!
We are going to adopt a child or two or three from foster care.
They will most likely not be infants,
probably a sibling group,
their ages may range from 2 to 18.
We are leaning towards the younger kids
so we are dealing with the same issues.
Close to Mariah's age and development.
Because of Mariah we will not consider adding a child
with severe issues or high maintenance special needs.
Mariah's safety and emotional health are first and foremost in our minds.
Gabe and Lola are also taken into consideration
since they will be affected too.

There are THOUSANDS of kids out there of all ages who need a home!
Many kids are in 15 different foster homes in a matter of a few years!
Can you imagine not knowing where you will be living in a week?
Who will you be living with next month?
Will they acknowledge your birthday?
Will they hurt you? Feed you?
