Getting close!

We were just contacted by Cheyenne's Social Worker.
She finally got the paper work and approval she was waiting for!

Now we have to wait for our Adoption Worker to get back from her honeymoon
so she can file HER papers. Then we can file our intent to adopt... Then wait for a court date!

It could be as soon as a month... The Social Worker's last adoptions have taken 6-8 weeks from this point though so we are assuming it will be mid- to end of June...
Maybe early July...

This should have taken 3 months and we are now entering month 9...
We are excited to be at a point where we are actually thinking about an actual
court date and finalizing Cheye's adoption!
Cheye will be so relieved when it is final and she is legally
Cheyenne Louise Thomas-McCarty!
