July 3rd in St. Peter

They take their parades and viewing locations SERIOUSLY in St. Peter!

The night before people go to the route and stake a claim... Blaknkets, chairs, "gazebos"... All waiting for the parade the next day... We even saw a sofa and loveseat waiting for the great celebration!

Memories...

One day, I was thinking a lot about Gramma. (Isabelle Reasner) I remembered her french braiding my hair so TIGHT that I walked around looking surprised for days until I took the braids out. She did her girls hair when they were little and they all SWEAR that theirs were so tight they couldn't close their eyes!

I tried it. I am no where as good as my gramma but I will keep trying...

Relay for Life 2008

The SURVIVORS are lining up for the opening lap of the relay.

St. Peter gave them each a blue t-shirt

with SURVIVOR on the back!
